Fields of activity

  • Development of inorganic-organic polymer composites
  • Reaction engineering of microreactors for organic syntheses
  • Manufacturing techniques of membrane-electrode units for direct methanol fuel cells
  • Multiphase reactions under high pressures

Current research projects

Part of the project is the scale-up of the catalytic coating of gas diffusion electrodes and their electrochemical evaluation in microbial fuel cells.

Development of an iron-based flow battery with an aqueous alkaline electrolyte. The project includes the development of all components of the battery through to the production of a market-ready prototype
